Well I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw this kid I knew from 3rd grade, from PS 46. In fact his name is Christopher Fertitta. Anyways we used to be real good friends in 3rd grade. I think him and Darien Raggobeer and Aleksandra were like my best buds in 3rd grade.
Anyways back to Facebook. I saw a picture of him with his girlfriend and I was just thinking how funny it was how quickly everyone grew up. My mind just zoomed way back to Latchkey this one time. I think that I was eating rice crispies cereal with milk and we were sitting next to each other and he was saying something like “Imagine if we still knew each other in high school?” or something. I thought that wouldn’t be such a far-fetched possibility…but now he’s just a memory in my head because I haven’t really talked to him since I transferred to Petrides.
Oh wells. It’s funny because I say that same thing to people except instead of “high school” it’s college…and the end results may just be the same.
